Hello guys and girls, it´s been a loooooooooong time since i checked this place, i went into some sort of hiatus due to my bad health, and i stopped drawing more or less and dedicated myself to photography, from time to time i do draw, and sometimes i take commissions, who knows what the rest of the year or the next years will have for me when it comes to art, i have been thinking hard about making new art and a new portfolio since most of the art i have in these galleries are quite old, from 10 years ago, i like to think i have improved in the past ten years. I will still come here once in a while to check on comments, if you are really interested enough in me and want to follow my art, i will mostly upload my art and share a few insights right HERE: [link]There you will find contact info if you are interested in commissions, just to let anyone know that the less i ask for a sketch is $30 as for 2012, no background, with background it´s up to $50 for a 12x17 in sketch, for pencil art, the less is $70 up to $300, for color art or digital art, it ranges from $100 for a simple colored character with little background up to $700 depending on size, purpose and media, for mass sketching, concept art, character development or settings or projects from 20 illustrations and up i have discounts, i no longer take requests, i do not make art in exchange of advertisement or make art with the excuse of bringing the attention of potential customers through your blog, book, poetry, website and so on, my time and what little skills i got through hard work and determination for 20 years to draw good enough MUST be paid, sorry, I love to draw, i love art, and i will ALWAYS draw, commercially or personally, and I DO NOT GIVE PERMISSION TO ANYONE TO USE MY ART FOR ANYTHING, NOT FOR ICONS, AVATARS, YOUR ROLE PLAYING GAME CHARACTER OR TO ILLUSTRATE ANY TEXT, BLOG, WEBSITE, HEADER, OR ANYTHING AT ALL UNLESS YOU HAVE MY EXPRESS WRITTEN PERMISSION, and please PLEASE DO NOT USE MY FAIRIES TO ADD GLITTER AND MAKE STUPID HIDEOUS GIFS WITH THEM, thank you so much. And if i find anyone using my art in a wrong way and without my permission, i swear i WILL take legal action upon ANYONE Since my art is properly and legally registered. Ok, sorry if anyone got offended, but i just wanted that to be clear.
Ok, so i hope to see some of you around FB, i´m bad at remembering usernames and people, do not take it personally if you say, hey i´m xxxxxxx remember me? because i will probably not unless we seriously engaged in emails and messages around here. I want to thank in advance to all the nice people who takes the time to write and comment on my doodles, i really appreciate it, i thank you with all my heart, i´m truly sorry i miss many notes and messages, and i thank the people who leaves me nice birthday wishes, i read them, late, but i do, and i´m truly sorry that i cannot find enough time to reply with a heart to each comment and good wish from you guys and girls, but thank you so much, i hope you are all fine and it makes me happy that somehow, even knowing there are amazing artists, way better than me out there, you still feel touched by my art, i´m a normal person, with normal daily activities, that goes around in her pijamas and hello kitty slippers most of the day, reads, fantasy, engages in video games and role playing games, and works at home editing and retouching and restoring photos for a great Photo Studio: [link] there is nothing amazing or magical or special about my life whatsoever, i say this because there are some nice people who asks me interesting things or suppose i am a certain kind of person with a certain kind of life, i swear, i receive cute little messages from people who believes i might live in a stone tower and go around dressed in fantasy clothes doing LARP all day long and just sit to draw when the faeries pop out of my rose garden at dusk. The reality is that i love fantasy, i love Sci-Fi, i love videogames, photography and movies, i love pizza, cats, nature, but also, i deal with Fibromyalgia and Hypermobility Syndrome which is extremely ainful, and i have to battle with Fatigue and weakness most of the time and sleep disturbances, which makes things difficult for me and very hard on me when i really want to draw, it takes time, i cannot engage in projects or commissions that will require quickness from me or a short deadline, if you want to commission me, i will gladly take it, but you must understand i cannot be rushed, i must avoid any unnecessary stress if i want my body to function properly and my mind to stay clear, i need time so you must provide me that time and understanding. Yesterday i sat to draw, it had been quite a while since i drew anything with such passion, after two hours, my arm started hurting badly and my hand, at night, i got shooting pain, horrible cramps that prevented me from having a good night´s sleep, it has been hurting but i take care, this is not easy at all for me, but i do not want to shut the door to possible commissions or artistic projects. I just need patience, i´m easy going and i love taking commissions, i just need time,patience and i need you to pay for my time and my experience. This year i promised myself i would improve my technique, so if you like what you see here, even as it´s quite old and naive art, then you can expect to be pleased with what i am capable of drawing now.
And to finish, i started singing some years ago, and it eventually evolved into me recording with a Shoegaze, Alternative Pop kinda indie project, in spanish, if you are interested in listening to the project, please go HERE: [link], when it comes to music, i´m open to it, i enjoy singing very much, and hopefully something good will come from this too.
